"Is Hip Hop Dead?" The question that shook the Hip Hop Foundation. The industry wanted to know if we R.I.P.'d Hip Hop.
"Hip Hop ain't dead, it lives in the South." Another statement that sparked a couple of "Hip Hop Debates."
So, here's the deal. We will coin the phrase...
"New Jersey Gives Birth to Hip Hop."
Or maybe we can say...
"JerZie Is Hip Hop."
On Friday, December 5th 2008, New Jersey Hip Hop history will be made. The 2008 Season 4 Championship Finals will be held at the MultiMedia Arts Center in Bloomfield, NJ. This event will be hosted by Black 45, a Pioneer and Mentor in the industry we call Hip Hop and DJ Priority, a well know DJ in the Hip Hop Community will be on the wheels.
Although this Beat Battle and MTP Championships focus on the Producers and the Artists, we do acknowledge that we must provide a networking and social atmosphere. The MMAC also known as Multi Media Art Center definitely provides that. The atmosphere is perfect. It's like the stage before you hit the "BIG STAGE". The Root of the New Jersey Performer. You know sort of like the Apollo in Harlem NY.
